Xyst was engaged by the Mackenzie District Council to project manage the installation of new park, public space, camping and wayfinding signage throughout the district.
As a starting point, our team conducted an inventory of all existing park signage and prioritised renewals in areas with higher visitor use. Prior to installation, we ensured site checks took place for underground services to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
Throughout the project, our team worked closely with the Council’s Communications Team, supporting agencies and the signage contractor. This process included developing a comprehensive symbol set, producing proofs and managing multiple iterations before final approval. The resulting signage has enhanced the experience of both residents and visitors as they interact with the Council’s open spaces.
